I was born in Ponca City, OK. I spent my first eighteen years in that small town before leaving to see the world. I thought the best way to do that was to become a Marine. I traveled to some amazing places and met some amazing people during those 20 years. It was during those travels that I fell in love with photography. I was inspired by the food and architecture. The way the people seemed to be part of the landscape. I imagined how people felt standing in that very spot during different times. What was Okinawa like 200 years ago? Who would I have met in Iraq 2000 years ago? This is what has drawn me to landscapes. The scenes change due to the natural affects of weather and the changes made by man, but the feeling one has remains the same.
